Pure-Health -- an introduction
At Pure-Health we are dedicated to giving back to our community. As a way to facilitate this we have created a “lunch n learn” program. Through this program we spend lunch at a local business educating their employees about wellness. We offer a variety of topics from proper lifting techniques to avoiding carpal tunnel, depending on a company's individual needs . All proceeds from this program are donated to Thames Valley Children Centre, a regional rehabilitation centre for children with physical disabilities, communication disorders, and developmental needs located in London , Ontario .
Both doctors continue to stay current on the latest health research, acting as a resource for their patients. In fact, the doctors frequently hold seminars at their center for those patients who would like further information regarding exercise, nutrition, stretching and stress reduction.
As patients continued to realize the positive effects at the center, large companies began to consult with the doctors regarding employee injury prevention and wellness. In fact, Dr Neely is now a corporate wellness consultant who specializes in isolating a company's specific injury and health issues and providing solutions that minimize injury claims and increase productivity as well as employee morale.
Dr Shulman, who has received her advanced level in pilates, is a highly sought after speaker on wellness, effective exercise and utilizing willpower. She has spoken to many large audiences and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr John Demartini of “The Secret”.
Both doctors are now highly sought after as wellness experts by the media. They are frequently featured on radio and television programs such as Rogers television, Living Well and Sirius Radio as well as being regular contributors to many publications including Alive Magazine and Canadian Living.
Dr. Shulman and Dr. Neely continue to be passionate about health, and improving people's quality in life. They implement the wellness information they share in their own lives, and the lives of their children. They are both very grateful for the opportunity to work with many inspiring individuals and are looking forward to continuing to “pay it forward” for many years to come. |
